They say the best love stories begin unexpectedly.
Resha and I grew up in each other's orbit - our mothers were friends, but she saw me as just another nerd and nothing more. But, Life had other plans for us.

One fateful evening on my way back from work, my fingers trembled as I dialed her number, not even sure why I was calling her.

Classic Resha - she didn't pick up

but texted back with her characteristically cool "Can i revert your call later, if it ain’t urgent.? “ Little did I know her 'LATER' would change my life forever.

That night, we spoke until the sun peaked through our windows. Eight hours of non-stop conversations, from embarrassing childhood stories to her hilarious attempts to convince me that medical life was fun (it isn’t !).

We even discovered we both had a habit of sneaking into church early just to have quiet moments of prayer - Little did we know that, those prayers were gonna be answered some day.

Almost 9– years later, we still can't get enough of each other. Our love grew from those friendly late-night calls where she'd randomly burst into claiming that CURD RICE is the best dish, or I'd try to explain to her about the mechanics behind MOTORCYCLE while she pretended to snore to upgrading ourselves to HUSBAND & WIFE. Our foundation was strongly laid on FAITH, with structural elevation done on HOPE, with beams made of TRUST and completing the project with LOVE.

Who knew that one unanswered call would lead to a thousand answered prayers?

Resha taught me that love isn't always about first sight -
sometimes it's about first insights.
